The best RP's will most likey win their matches that week and may end up with a championship belt for their trouble.

See easy.

Random Lyric Of The Day tm.

Welcome folks and friends to the Hump Day episode of my silly little quiz.

I will start the fun off by first saying thank to those that took part in this bit of madness and i hope you enjoyed yourselves. Second i will post the answers to both of last weeks tests.

The clear winner of the week and the Belt is [info]freyaschild

Ok lets get on with it. I've got more Guitar Hero 3 to play.

1. "Said can I take you home where we can be alone" from Joan Jett's I Love Rock & Roll_

2. "I can't control my fingers i can't control my brain" from The Ramones I Wanna Be Sedated

3. "livin' fast and dying young like a endless poetry" from White Zombie's Thunderkiss 65

4. "They burned down the gambling house, it died with an awful sound" from Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water

And The bonus lyric :

"You're clear - as a heavy lead curtain want to drill you" Bad Religion's Infected (i love this song.)

Then.........

"When I step out I'm gonna do you in" from Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top

"You leave me broken, shattered I lie" from Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand

"And everything goes rushing by, with every nerve alive" from Turbo Lover by Judas Priest

"I'm tryin' to forget your name and leave it all behind me" from Foreplay/long time by Boston

And The Bonus lyric is.........

""With a magic in their music as they eat raw liver" from Born Again by Black Sabbath

These next lyrics should be a fine test for all you loyal fans out there. Remember to have fun,it's a rule. And unless your a rebel you gotta follow the rules. No you can't become a rebel now. Yes the Dark side still has cookies and we're better in bed.

Now on with the show.

1. "Just like the Pied Piper led rats through the streets"

2. "I will hold you close, If your afraid of heights"

3. "In conversation, she spoke just like a baroness"

4. "When the kids had killed the man I had to break up the band"

And The Bonus Lyric......."You take her home and she says "Maybe, baby"

Well there seems to be a theme in this batch. I wonder what it is? Have at kids and take it easy.

Howdy Cowboys and Girls

Me from Johns.
Howdy folks.

I 'm looking to put together a relaxed game of Deadlands on the weekends. I have saturdays and sundays open shy the odd ren faire i go to. I also run a few other games that i could use players for and i'll list them.

Supernatural (based on the tv show ,system is W.O.D.)
The Warriors (based on the movie, system D20 or W.O.D)
G.I.Joe! (based on the comic books and some from the cartoon, system TBA)
Vampire (old and new W.O.D)
Cyberpunk

All of the games i run cinematic and rules lite. The story told and fun had our the goal. Not how many pluses you have. I look forward to meeting new people and everyone is welcome to join me. I also tend toward the action side of things. Trust me though there will be many places in the game for good role playing.

As the reason for this post. The game will be set in a little town known as Cutters Creek. It borders both a Union and CSA fort in the disputed lands. The town gets it from all sides. the crime rate is like a bouncing ball. once the marshell puts down one gang on a wave, another takes up where the other left off. Then there's the armies that walk around like they own the place. Between the commaner it's a question of lesser evils , but you'll still end up feeling used and dirty. Even the chruches are in conflict. Both are preaching that they know what god's view is and trying to put asses in pews so the can collect those tithes.

There's much more going on in this little speed bump of a town, but thats a tale for later.

So if your interested in joining me in any of these games Or better yet run one of them them by all means send me a message pronto!

I tend to play my games at someplace close to me and i live in richmond ca. I am wiling to as far as BART will take me. Rides and or car pooling is always great but not a deal breaker.

Once you get to know me guys and dolls i'm really not that bad a guy for a slacker gamer freak.

If anyone is down with this concept then holla at me on my cell phone. Or email me as soon as possible. It is getting toward time to cash in or be snowed out. I'd really like to see some of you guys from outta town. Pass this along to anyone you know and trust. I'm a great rommie really!

In the spirit of Post Secret, let's bring this to LJ.

*Post an anonymous secret here.

For example: Do you have a secret wish/desire/dream/nightmare? Do you secretly love/hate/admire someone? Do you secretly want to do/not do something? Do you have a secret side to you? Is there something that other people don't know about you? Whatever the case may - your secret can be either big or small. Either deep and dark or just silly. Whatever. The point is - it has to be true and a secret.

Copy this to your own LJ and see how many anonymous secrets get divulged to you!

Watch Out Now Says Vault Boy
So i just got home from seeing a 11:10 showing of the 300. The movie was over all very good and worth the money. There were some silly parts, but they were few and the action won out over them.

The real comedy came after the show. Me and the friends i went with were talking about what we thought of the movie and planning to go home. About 10 feet away from us were these kids mucking around with a sunglasses stand.

Long story short they walked right past us with handfuls and boxes of sunglasses from said stand ignoring us the whole time. So one of my friends call the cops while another got security. The E-Ville police caught all four boys about two blocks from where we saw them.

We had to identifiy the ones we saw stealing and fill out a report on what we saw. It took awhile because of the silliness of it all.

I'm sure the boys learned not to be so oblivious or cocky as to steal in front of 8 witniness.

But yeah the movie is well worth going to see. SO GO Now.

I have a few questions for my friends out there. Two of them are random, but the rest are to help build my Supernatural game. Answer them like your life depended on it.

1. Who out of these people based on body of work alone is a more memoriable artist?
A.Michael Jackson
B.Prince
C.Stevie Wonder
D.Madonna
E.Whitney Houston

2. Which one of the above artists do you find sets the mood best, and you own the most albums from?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok now for the game questions.

1. If you were faced with proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that The Supernatural was indeed real, what would be your honest reaction? Detail is good.

2. Now that you know that the supernatural is real, how would effect you to know that someone close to you was say a werewolf or was or working for a vampire? What does your head and heart tell you to do.

3. Do you believe all Angels are inherently good and all Demons and evil to the core?

4. What does "Good" and "Evil" mean to you really?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok folks thats all for now. I urge everyone that can to answer these it will do my game a world of good, and make my players very worried.

Have a great night and a better day Y'all.

Watch Out Now Says Vault Boy
So i've recently become a convert of the fandom for the show Supernatural. I've always like shows of that type. (Brimstone,Buffy,Angel,The X-Files,Friday the 13th the series, etc)

I've stayed up to silly hours watch the 1st season of the show and finished it last night. I haven't dived into a show this much since Buffy hit the air. It has inspired me to get off my duff and run a RPG based on the concept of the show. With lots of urban legends and myths for the players to figure out and things to chase down to save the lives people the may not even know.

So if anyone is interested in playing either live or online let me know and i'll walk you through me idea of the game and setting. I plan to use a version of the new world of darkness rules. I'll still be mostly rules lite and will always favor good story over hard rules. Thats the way i roll.

If anyone has any ideas or hell advice i'm happy to listen to you it can only help. I could always use a Co-ST. Each player will get a intro "episode" that will expose them to the world of the Supernatural and how they react to it. Meet up with the other players will not be forced and will not randomly take place at some magic bar of meeting.

I will not be using the normal rules for the monsters that run around the W.O.D. There will be changes so the story flows better at that given time. Your character will only know what they know and not what the Player does about Vampires,Werewolfs,Ghosts or what have you.

THe Winchester Brothers may make a cameo in game but will not be a main part of the show. i want the players to come up with their on persona's and network of friends or contacts. Fighting off the demons in the darkness alone is suicide. Aren't friends grand?

When i get a player base,i'll then decide when and where we'll play. There will of course be a time to write up characters. This is not a boys club and everyone is welcome.

If enough people want the play by email option, i'll start up a yahoo/google group or a LJ community.

All Righty then thats all the info i'm gonna shove at y'all right now. Feel free to contact me if you have questions. I wouldn't be a very good storyteller if i shut y'all out.

Safe Hunting Kids.

So i went to see "Smoking Aces" in Berkeley this Friday night. I was thinking it was just going be another "Lad" action movie. I was wrong and I'm happy to say so.

I'm not going to give much away because i want y'all to go see it. But suffice to say There was indeed enough action for us action junkies and even some pathos for everyone.

It had heart and thats the real point of see the film. Ryan Reyenolds was very likeable and good overall. Alica Keys(Singer) and Common(Rapper) were very convincing in their first roles on film. I looked forward to their scenes and was happy with their character's path. Andy Garcia and Ray Liotta were perfect. And the rest of the cast rounded everything out in a neat yet bullet riddled package.

Smoking Aces is well worth your time at the movies. If you liked The Departed then you should already be buying tickets.

Disclaimer: No money or swag was given to me to write this review. Though if you really want to hand it over. I did really like the movie. Seriously.

I'm sitting here think that i'm four days into the new year and not much is new. I didn't think a wand would wave and all my issue would go away, but i did kinda want more.

More action, friends, girls, and Less down time, moping around wishing my sort of friend with benefits was free to spend time with my sorry arse.

I don't know i'm starting to feel kinda bitchy right now. I'm hoping that i find something to do to make use of my lonely time. And no smart ass work is not an option. I seriously would like a real girlfriend but have the social skills of a blind librarian.

Oh well the dude abides.

The Boy Next Door
Random Gentle Love Dreamer (RGLDm)

Kind, yearning, playful, you are The Boy Next Door. You're looking for real Love, a lot like girls do. It might not be manly, but it's sweet.

We think the next three years will be very exciting and fruitful ones for you. Your spontaneous, creative side makes you a charming date, and we think you have a horny side just waiting to shine. Or glisten, rather. You enter new relationships unusually hopeful, and the first moments are especially glorious. If you've had some things not work out before, so what.

Your exact opposite:
The 5-Night Stand

Deliberate Brutal Sex Master
On paper, most girls would name the Boy Next Door as their ideal mate. In the real world, however, you're often passed over for more dangerous or masculine men. You're the typical "nice guy:" without just a touch of cockiness, you're doomed with girls. A shoulder to cry on? Okay, sure. But never a penis to hold.

More than any other type, Boys Next Door evolve as they get older. As we said, many find true love, but some fail miserably in the search. These tarnished few grow up to be The Men Next Door, who are creepy as hell, offering backrubs to kids and what not.

ALWAYS AVOID: The Nymph

CONSIDER: The Maid of Honor, The Peach

Mini update (for those that care.)

  • Oct. 1st, 2006 at 2:42 AM
Me from Johns.
So i thought i'd randomly write this little update of my life as it stands.

Well i'm still in richmond. I sometimes stay at my moms place, mostly because i can use the PC. I share a place with a friend a few blocks up from there. I am only alone when she's at work. sadly the place is very girly because of her influence. Before anyone asks No i'm not working. I've come to the point where working would only mess things up for.

I'll expline. I'm not so good health wise. I have bad back pain almost all the damn time. My asthma is actting up more often and always at the worse times. My skin is driving mye crazier by the night. I don't really sleep much due to the fact that everytime i drift off any little thing will wake me and then the hour or so scracthing fest begins and does end until i'm left to catch my breath and try to regin sleep. Well that is unless i end having one of my facked up Night Terrors or worse Nightmares. Their never really the same every time and have no over riding theme. There have been a few times that i feared that i wouldn't wake up and felt trapped in the dream. Yes like a freddy movie. No horror movies don't cause these unless it really gets to me and thats rare.

On to happier news. I'm seeing a friend of mine from back in the day. She popped back into my life months ago and has been the best thing in my life ever since. She's gladly a friend with beifits and i'm proud to have her enjoy my company as much as she does. I won't go into details here (i have another LJ for that). i'll just say that we keep each other Very happy when we get together. I have also met another girl off of all thing my space. We've been talking off and on for a few months now. When we do though it's for hours and about everything under the sun. i don't know what will come of it but i have high hopes as always.

On the role playing front. I'm gaming a lot less then i was last year arond this time. I'm in to regular games. The Monday Gamr tm. And a revolving sunday game which is turning to space opera soon. I do pop into ACE every now and then when i don't have other plans. I'm not liking the trend of my characters lately. My last brujah got "retired" by other PC's or some non-sense and now i'm working out the details on what my be my Last PC in Larp every. So i'm trying to make it a good one that people will remember fondly. I really don't know if anyone remembers any of my other characters or if they assume i'm just playing Alexander with a funny hat. Or some other (Gun Bunny) character type. I don't think the people that do remember my favorites read my LJ or care. So i'll just be doing this for me.

Ok this is turning into more of a real update then i was planing, but those that know me know i tend to ramble when i'm upset or nervous. Anyway i'm going to go play some GTA:SA and do some Set tripping. For those of you that don't know what that means. It's a gang term that means i'm going to Fight with other gangs over turf and Rep my set above theirs in the most violent way possible.

Thats all for now kids. To my friends I love you all. To random person that reads this Top of the mornin' to ya. the the Triple A haters out there as i'm so fond of saying Bring It!!! i've got little to lose, can you say the same.

Ok now on to the snippets themselfs. Good luck kids. This is a look into my musical taste (or lack there of)as the case maybe.

Enjoy )

There thats not that hard at all. I'm sure people will get every one. I'll even give bonus props if anyone lists the albums these songs are on.

Anyway i'll post the winner and the answers on sunday night when i get back from faire. Have a killer weekend everyone.

Rock N' Roll!!!!!!!!

Can you solve it?

Ok this may seem abit morbid, but not to those who know me and the way i think.

I was thinking about an idea for little game.

First i want you all to think out the detectives on shows like Homicide,Law & Order, and C.S.I...................Ok got the idea? GOOD.

Know pretend for a moment that you are of them. And you happen to me in the squad room when a call comes about a body.......................The odd part is you know the address.

BECAUSE IT'S YOURS. Or if you want another level of detchment your closest friend or a lover.

Now the fun part.

How would you go about solving Your own murder (or your friends)? How were you (or them) killed? Who's the first person that snaps into your head that may have done it?

These and many other questions must be answered and FAST. Remember that the first 48 hours are the most important in a case like this.

Have Fun with this. I can't wait to read what my very smart friends come up with. If i get enough replys i'll post what mine would be like. It may surprize you!

(Click here to post your own answers for this meme.)

I miss somebody right now. I don't watch much TV these days. I own lots of books.
× I wear glasses or contact lenses. I love to play video games. I've tried marijuana.
I've watched porn movies.  (Love porn is more like it.) × I have been the psycho-ex in a past relationship. × I believe honesty is usually the best policy.
I curse sometimes.  (Sometimes meaning All the time.) I have changed a lot mentally over the last year. × I carry my knife/razor everywhere with me.
it goes on... )

Me from Johns.
As i said yesterday i Went to Death Guild last night after hanging out with my D&D crew.

The place had change abit since i was last there, but not that much.

Over all i had a good time. I danced abit (read made a fool of myself),and did a good deal of girl/people watching. The girls in the victorian dresses were very well put together.

I ran into one of my better friends and some people i know from Larp. I kinda wish i could of drank more, but money only goes so far when your low on it.

All i all it was a good capper to a great day. Which started with a awesome lunch with The Girl. I look forward to post more good days like these. I'm sure the people that read this are tired of all the bitchin'.

that is all Carry on.

So far so good.............

My day is chugging along real nice right now. I had an excellant lunce with a very good friend that i don't get to see often. We hung out and killed time till they had to go back to work.

I wish i could could more time with them ,but they have a very busy situation. And can't be awaiting for me to randomly call.

Thats fine though cause when we're it always fun .

I hope the rest of my evening goes as well. D&D is on the menu for tonight and if i'm a good boy i'll trip out to death guild in S.F. It's been ages since i've been there and i miss clubbin'. So i'm gonna take my last few bucks and treat myself.

i'll post later how it went. that is if anyone cares.

So i start a little test for myself.

I'm trying to Find and watch as many movies as i can that fall into what i call the "Chase" genre. To be valid the movie mustt have the main character(s) being chased or harried through most if not all of the movie.

So far i've got Logan"s Run and Marathon Man marked off.

Next i was thinking of Midnight Run, Running Scared (both of them),both 48 Hours,The Getaway (Old And New) and maybe The Chase.

If ya'll can think of any i may of missed please tell me so i can rent them.

I'm going back to watching Logan's run.

So i have been finding music as i normaly do. Lately i've been trying to find New (at least to me) Music. That way i can listen to and look the band up on wikiptdia. Both of which are fun and kinda like a hunt, with the prize being information.

I'd love any suggestions my wonder friends can think up. Yes now is the time to show your musical tastes and gain more fans to your genre.

I know people get all antsy about the subject of plessuring of ones self. I must know from the womens side of the court. What do you use to for lack of a better term Gett Off? Do Vibrators work? Are there other toys that do a better job? Does erotica enter into the process and help?

You can feel free to ignore me. BUT if your willing to ease my curiousity then inform me as best you can. I'm not doing this as a joke or to be lewd. I'm really seriously curious.

I'm spending a good deal of time catching up on my favorite and new comics thanks to obline scans and the like. I am also picking up trade paperbacks and graphic novels when i can afford them.

So i thought i'd poll my friends here for some ideas on can't miss books that i should try and find. Y'all know my tastes if you know me at all. So this should be a cake walk.

I've started Watchmen recently and finshed most of the Batman stories of note Like Hush and the Jason Todd storyline which i loved,Bucky be damed.

So tonight i went to see lacuna Coil and ROB ZOMBIE at the Warfield. Bullet of My Valintiane was gonna open, but they cancilled at the last minute.

Anyway i got there a bit after seven and had to go hunting for a ticket since the show was Souled Out. I found someone and they sold me a ticket for $45 which isn't bad at all. It wou;d have been that much with tax anyway.

Ok so i got in and wait for the show to start. Which it did about 8:30ish. Lacuna Coil was up first. I adore this group and it's not just because the female lead is to die for. They are talented, they have a great stage presense and they put on a great show. Their also pretty cool cats. I met them once aftera show at The Pound SF. I almost passed out being that close to Christina (the girl lead). I promoes Andreas (the male lead) If they keep coming to The City i'll keep showing up to their shows. They smiled and said Deal!! Bottom line They Fucking ROCKED and if any of you get a chance check them out. They'll be at Ozzfest on the main stage. All you tunes kids Download Them NOW!!

After standing in the crunch of people and the cloud of 2nd hand weed smoke the show contnued with the headliner............Rob Zombie and his new band.

Rob hop on stange and was decked out in his death cowboy look. I'm forgeting the song they opened with but it was good. Forgive me they played for like an hour and change. Rob did all the hits like Devilman,ThunderKiss '65,More Human,Dragula,SuperBeast and some of the new stuff like Foxy Foxy. He even busted out the title song from House of 1000 Corpses with video playing the whole time.

It was over all a great set by a man that knows how to put on a great show. I plan on DL'ing and buying both bands new albums which is rare for me. I had a great time which i know is burning all my luck for the rest of the month. Wish i had someone along with me,but beggers can't be bitchers and all that rot.

Anyway thanks for listening to my show review and have a safe ,sane and sexy night kids.

I sit here on a saturday feeling sorry for myself and lonely. I've had some good moments this month which i'm happy for............but at the end night/day i'm still sitting here bitching on here or trolling on craigslist looking for someone.

I know that i mostly post this kind of depressed stuff and i'm sure the people that call me friend are well and truely tired of it. But the cycle continues as always. I've tryed telling myself that i'm worth it and worthy of having someone care for me and was believing it for awhile, but i'm still sitting here. I'm bad love song fodder and that sucks hardcore. Being depressed is not my excuse not try,but it is one of the reasons i find it hard not to give up. Maybe i should accept my role as that permently single guy in the crowd. My friends worry about me and where my life is going and all along i'm more worried about their happiness............. funny ain't it.

If anyone reads this thank you for listening. I will be more then happy to return the favor. I'm good at it i think.
